Ok, you know what pisses me off? People that say they're stupid when they're not, because they're not being honest with themselves. Stupid people are people like football jocks who are taking Algebra 2 MCR as Seniors and still failing. Stupid people are not people who take Trig Honors as juniors. It seems to me that the general impression that my friends get is that if you're dumb at PV you're dumb everywhere. They fail to realize that PVPHS is one of the top ten high schools in the nation. If they feel stupid becuase all their friends are smarter than them then it's probably because they're freinds are probably genius level... or at least damn near. I'm sure Einstein's friends felt stupid around them.... but who wouldn't around Einstein. Just because you're friends are smarter than you does not mean that you're stupid! I bet if you took any one of the PVPHS honors or AP students and stuck them in a class somewhere else, they'd feel like the smartest people in the world. People need to get a larger perspective on life!!!! Another example, say you live In Beverly Hills, but all your friends get more allowance than you, IT DOESN'T MEAN YOU'RE POOR! YOU FRICKING LIVE IN BEVERLY HILLS!!! GOOD GOODNESS! Just because you may have bitten off more than you can chew by taking 2 APs and 2 Honors or something like that IT DOESN'T MEAN YOU'RE STUPID!. Go to like a fricking LAUSD school and tell me how many people are fricking taking that many classes. OH and another thing that bugs me..... ANYTHING ABOVE A 3.0 GPA IS GREAT!! My goodness people! And a 1200 SAT score is NOT average.... that is far above par! BAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.... anyways, I just think people need to take a broader look at the world and get some more perspective... this blog is not meant to offend or address anyone in particular... thank you for bearing with me through this rant...
